About Us

Cloverlea Cattery, which is exclusively for cats, opened in November 2009. The aim of our cattery is to ensure that your cats health, happiness and safety is always our number one priority. The cattery is set within our own garden overlooking the beautiful countryside. We are located in the heart of the Northamptonshire and it is run under the loving care of Christine and David Mackintosh, F.A.B. (Feline Advisory Board) trained proprietors and cat owners of Chester and Charlie.

Due to the high standards of care, management and construction of the cattery we became Fab listed which means that can have complete peace of mind that we will take complete care of your cat whilst you are away.

Accommodation

The cattery was designed and constructed to F.A.B standards to ensure that your cat benefits from the highest quality of cattery available. Each individual chalet benefits from being south facing so your cat can enjoy the sun all day. We provide everything your cat needs for a relaxing holiday at Cloverlea. All cats are treated individually and every care is made for cats of all temperaments with extra special time given to anxious and timid cats.

Feeding

Adult cats are fed twice daily and older cats and kittens to suit their requirements. We provide a wide variety of foods and aim to feed your cat what it is normally fed at home. Special diets will need to be supplied.

Health

We accept all breeds of cat with a valid immunisation record against Cat Flu and Feline enteritis and only neutered males. Please ensure you are up to date with flea and worming treatments. If your cat needs to attend regular visits to the vet for on-going treatment we will take them. Nothing is too much trouble!

We accept diabetic cats and administer their insulin according to their daily requirements. An extra charge of £1.00 per day will be added for this service.

We are happy to administer medication that your cat requires.

Bookings

Please telephone us for availability and prices and to discuss your cats specific requirements. Please leave a message if we are unable to answer the phone as we are probably with the cats. We will return your call within the hour. Once a booking has been made we will confirm it in writing. Payment will be due when you pick up your cat. We accept cash, cheque and credit/debit cards (there will be a charge for use of cards).

Appointments outside these hours can be made for arrival and collection . We encourage viewing prior to booking and you can visit anytime within the opening hours without appointment although appointments will need to be make for Sunday viewings.

Collection and delivery can be arranged at £1.00 per mile.
